One-of-a-kind couture from kimono, for your clients.

Kimono silk × French lace

Kimono silk, elevated into couture

Our collection honours the beauty of Japanese kimono silk, elevating it into original, contemporary couture.

Some pieces are further adorned with refined French lace, adding a new expression of elegance and sophistication.

Every piece is tailored from a single kimono, so no two are alike. We welcome inquiries from fashion buyers and select stores around the world.

Why Maison Brijean

What your clients will find

I

Every piece, the only one

Each piece begins with a single kimono, some of them antique textiles that can never be made again. Your clients will never meet the same piece twice.

II

Kimono meets European couture

Pattern-making and tailoring refined in Himeji since 1966, and couture and embroidery studied in Paris, give kimono textiles a new life as couture.

III

A story worth sharing

A kimono house since 1895 and a couture house since 1966, led today by a mother and her daughter. A true story your clients can feel in every piece.
